Where planned workouts live, who can edit, and how the calendar talks to uploaded activities.
/athlete/<public_id>/calendar/ shows the athlete's training
schedule: planned workouts on the days they are intended
for, plus the matches to whatever Activity the athlete
actually recorded. It is the daily interface that closes the
gap between the macrocycle plan ("8h bike this week") and
the FIT file you uploaded ("90 min easy ride Wednesday").
The calendar is a continuous multi-week scroll of Monday-start weeks; it opens on the current week and you load earlier / later weeks as needed. A floating Today button (bottom-right) brings you back to the current week whenever you scroll away. A side summary panel shows this week's and this month's done-vs-planned totals and a Fitness / Fatigue / Form mini-chart.
Each workout has its own detail page at
/athlete/<public_id>/workout/<id>/: three note threads (pre-execution,
side, post-workout) and โ once it's matched to an activity โ
plan-vs-actual (duration / distance / Load vs target), a Session
analysis (pacing, decoupling, power/speed by gradient) and a Similar
sessions trend. See
What you see in a workout.
Add workouts from the ๐ Library / Plans picker (Grepiac library + your own) โ see Workouts, library & the builder.

Free athletes use the calendar as a read-only view of what their coach prescribed and what they have actually done.
When an athlete uploads a workout file, Grepiac looks for a
planned workout on the same day with the same sport and
auto-matches them. The matched workout's status flips to
completed. If multiple candidates exist, the one with the
closest planned duration wins.
Once matched, the calendar pill is colour-coded by compliance (how the actual Load compares to plan โ red โ green โ blue) and the workout unlocks plan-vs-actual. See Comparing & trending workouts.
You can override the auto-match manually: unmatch the recorded activity, or match a planned workout to a specific upload. Manual decisions are locked so the auto-matcher does not overwrite them later โ see Matching and unmatching activities.
When you are scanning many weeks, collapse the ones you don't need. Each week header has a โพ toggle that hides that week's days while keeping its plan/done totals visible. Tick the checkboxes on several week headers and use the Hide / Show bar (bottom-left) to collapse a whole block at once, or Show all hidden to bring them back. This is your own view only: it never changes what the athlete sees, and it is remembered in your browser.
A workout can carry an optional start time (on both the quick-add and the full workout form). Leave it blank for an all-day entry, or set it (e.g. 05:00) to pin the session to a time of day. Start times become timed events when you subscribe the calendar to Apple, Google, or Outlook. See Subscribe to your training calendar.
Every day has a faint ๐ button (coaches and self-coached athletes). Tap it to drop a note on that day or set the day's availability (available / limited / unavailable / sick / race), optionally for one sport. No need to create a workout just to leave a note; it works on touch, so a tap does it on an iPad.
The search box matches workout titles and descriptions by default. Tick in comments beside it to also search inside each workout's coach and athlete comments, for finding "that session where I noted X".
