Training & analysis
What you see in a workout: planned, completed & uploaded
The analysis on a session, and what matching an upload to a planned workout unlocks.
Three states of a session
- Planned: a target on the calendar, not yet done. Shows the
prescription (duration, distance, Load, structure) and a coach advisory.
- Just uploaded: a FIT/Garmin/Wahoo file with no matching plan. Lands
on the calendar as an unplanned activity. You still get the full
activity analysis below.
- Planned + completed (matched): the upload is linked to a planned
workout. This unlocks the comparison layer: compliance %, the
plan-vs-actual table (duration / distance / Load achieved vs target)
and the calendar's compliance colour on the pill.
Analysis on any bike/run (planned or not)
Open the activity (or a matched workout) for Session analysis:
- Pacing: first-half vs second-half power, pace, speed, HR and
cadence, with a verdict (faded / even / built) and Pa:HR decoupling.
- Power & speed by gradient: time/power/speed split into climb >3% /
flat / descent <-3%, colour-coded.
- Running Effectiveness (Stryd runs):
what RE is.
- Plus elevation, time-in-zone, laps and segments on the activity page.
Why matching matters
A just-uploaded run tells you what happened. A matched run also tells
you how it compared to the plan: compliance, the calendar colour
gradient and plan-vs-actual all come from the match. Grepiac auto-matches
by date + sport on upload; you can also match/unmatch manually
(here).
