Course library: race courses, segments, and your device

Three kinds of course

Every course selector on Grepiac groups routes by origin:

• Grepiac library — the shared race-course library (Ironman, 70.3, Challenge and more). Everyone sees these.
• From coach … — routes uploaded by one of your active coaches. Only their athletes see them.
• Mine — routes you uploaded yourself.

You never see another coach's private uploads, and a coach opening your pages sees exactly what you see.

The year, and "updated — replaces"

A race course changes between years. Where the edition year is known it is shown after the name — Ironman Nice (2026). When a newer edition is uploaded with Replaces… pointing at the old one, the old route disappears from every selector but stays on file, so a race plan that used it still opens. The new edition shows an updated — replaces … badge until you have seen it.

Coaches: on the route manager or inside the Power-to-Finish calculator, set the Year and pick what the upload Replaces when you bring in a corrected course.

Getting a course onto your Garmin

Courses for my device lists your upcoming races first — each with its course, taken from your saved Power-to-Finish plan — then your team's segments, then the library behind a search box. Send to my device queues a route; it loads the next time you plug in with Grepiac Bridge and appears under Navigation → Courses. Your device shows the map and the climbs; the pacing is yours.

From the same row, Rehearsal session creates a calendar workout that rides the course's gradient segments at the power targets from your Power-to-Finish plan, scaled by a 90–110 % difficulty dial (the dial changes the watts, never the segment times). It reaches your device like any other planned session.

Coaches

Your roster cards carry a Courses link into each athlete's page. Anything you queue or create there lands on that athlete's device and calendar, and is recorded as yours.
